Alice in Wonderland Birch Wood Trays
Continuing with the Alice in Wonderland theme, Louise Kirk’s exclusive designs for Avenida Home depict scenes from the novel based on the original illustrations. They are a collage of images featuring popular characters Alice, the Mad Hatter, the White Rabbit and the Queen of Hearts with decorative spades, clubs, hearts and diamonds bringing a playing card motif to the pieces.
It is the first time that Alice in Wonderland has been portrayed in a collage. The unique scene-setting, colour and pattern combinations, along with additional light touches of humour, capture the lovable childishness of Carroll’s original tale to make these wooden trays really collectable pieces.
